Amber Autumn's Kodak Moment

For the offspring from her maiden breeding to Troy, Kodak gave us a stunning black girl after a textbook birth. Since she was growing well and in great health, we were shocked and devastated when she was unexpectedly injured in a pen with a small group of moms. After taking her to CSU Veterinary Hospital we had the bad news that her femur had been badly broken. After surgery and 3 days of positive trending in recuperation, she unfortunately rebroke her leg, stripping out the screws for her plate. With heavy hearts, we made the hard decision to let her go and bring Kodak home without her first cria. Kodak looked and looked for days for lost girl.

Kodak rebred easily to our black herdsire Guinness, for hopefully another beautiful girl in 2025.
